Unless I misunderstand (I could have perhaps), Ole Jean Pierre has done what I always had wondered "When in tarnation is someone gonna do a CD that emulates a band so you can front on accordion?" Boop, here it is!
So here I am (chores done and bored as a reason I'm surfing) and goofing around on the net . I run upon some UFO looking thing boasting a Cajun/Zydeco Cadillac thang and wondered if ole JP was perhaps a nut case tapped into the alternative cone heads of hail bob or some such thing that may even contain goat leggins and odd rituals baring a grass skirt and what not.
Past the intro screen, I checked this button out that refers to; Band 2 go vol. 1
Here is the site (give it a look see): http://www.bayoucadillacs.com/cdartwork.html
Ever I wondered if ole Jean Pierre clinged to the far reaches of being wacky, I must appologize. Fact of the matter is, I had wondered many times, why the bejeezes someone doesn't come out with a cd that features all the stuff I can fill in with accordion, hence: "Band in a box, Just Add Accordion"
Jean Pierre, you are my fraternal brother of the royal order of push and pull... a chank-a-chank clonester prone to improving the world of lonely heart squeezers longing to have a canned band and a dandy rhythum section to further matters, as a reason why we do what it is we do. My Brother, you have my profound respect ... either that, or you have an uncanny ability to zone in on my higher thinking while I have been hoping for a number of years for something like this pertaining to such a CD...
Count ole Nonc D hail bob in on that CD, for when it gets released....Genious!
Tracy Schwartz did this a number of years ago with the accordion panned to the right and the fiddle panned to the left and every thing else straight up the middle. If you wanted to practice fiddle you panned it one way. If you want to practice accordion, you pan it the other way. With today's digital capabilities, one can create a song, then transpose it to any key with a push of a button.
