Re: Sunday at Mcgee's landing.

That deck at McGee's is stellar, not to mention the bar! I saw The Henderson Playboys and Ashley Hayes jammin' there last Memorial Day Weekend. They were all great and Ashley is a really nice and talented gal. I dang near got struck by lightning that weekend. Guess I needed a better reason to go to church afterall. Wish I could be there this Sunday... I highly recommend the McGee's venue (and the cabins.) Just don't go chasin' those ducks in the woods when it's raining.

Layne,
Congradulations on the new band and the gig at McGees landing. I know you'll do great. You oughta bee getin pretty hot on that fiddle by now.
My 3 piece band (accordion, guitar, scrubboard) has a semi-regular gig nowadays. Ya gotta make those "shakey" starts sometime/somewhere. Best wishes to you. Tommee

Re: Re: Sunday at Mcgee's landing.

Good to hear from you Tommee. Were gonna have a great time. I'm also playing with Danny Collet now every week on Teusdays at Boutins in Baton Rouge and that gig is going great.

Re: Re: Re: Sunday at Mcgee's landing.

Layne,
Don't forget that weekly gig with the "Prairieville Cajun Jammer's", hosted by Kent Lavigne.
