two row Baffetti

I had the pleasure of seeing Rosie Ledet and the Zydeco Playboys here in the D.C. area. She pulled out a two row Baffetti and honked out a few songs on it. Do many other zydeco players use two row as opposed to three? How do they differ from two row boxes that are similar to the Cajun single rows? I have a single row La box and a 3 row Panther.
Just curious.

Re: two row Baffetti

not really that much different from a 3-row (but a good bit lighter)... and you get less options as far as key changes.

I really like my 2-rows, especially since they seem "hotter"than a 3 row tex mex 2 reed because they are easier to pump.

I have never played a corso... a 3 sets of reeds 2-row, but would like to see how ballsy it is.

Re: Re: two row Baffetti

Two row Corsos are very ballsy.. John Delafose was rumoured to have played one at one time..and there once was posted here mention of a video of him playing a Corso.
