Two Step for August Broussard

Ganey Arsement
Description: 2006 release, Bayou State Media 0100. Ganey Arsement: accordion, guitar, bass; Clint Ward, Chris Miller: fiddle

A very versatile Lake Charles musician, Ganey offers a fine accordion instrumental here dedicated to one of his mentors, August Broussard! Sounds like Love Bridge Waltz played in two step time. August Broussard was quite adept at converting waltzes to two steps and vice versa. Nice tempo on this one! Bien merci!

Deux Pas Pour August Broussard

Re: Two Step for August Broussard

That's a great tune!

Ganey-- Neal just convinced me that I can't wait for this to come out in paperback! How do we get the real deal??

Peace,
Griff

Re: Two Step for August Broussard

Neal,
I'd like to add that August and I played the Love Bridge Waltz on dual accordions so this two-step is also alternating between the C and D accordions.

Griff...The CD is available through either of the two links above.

Thanks for that story, Ganey! I will incorporate it in the "liner notes." Sure sounds like it was fun.
