Just saw Tab Benoit at the Chenango Blues Festival (in the rain) the other day, and he mentioned the Voice of the Wetlands Festival at the Southdown Plantation in Houma. I think it's the same weekend: October 13, 14, and 15. Some blues and NOLA R&B (Dr. John) along with some Cajun and zydeco. And educational exhibits on the wetlands.

Y'all could drop by for half a day and add yourself to the body count of those in favor of coastal wetlands restoration.
