RPr...where Y'at?

Re: Hoosierland

Chuck,

I live near South Bend and I was wondering if there is any Cajun music anywhere in Indiana.

I was hoping one of the Indy colleges would bring in a group. I have been down to see the Chieftains etc.

Cajun or Zydeco may be around but I have not found it yet.

Tnx

Re: Re: Hoosierland

No cajun music here, but I'm working with a local promoter to bring some groups in as they go elsewhere in the Midwest. The Red Stick Ramblers are playing in Indy on Friday, Sept. 8th on their way to Chicago.

Re: Re: Re: Hoosierland

Chuck,

Put me on your mailing list for any Cajun gigs you manage to wrangle for Indy. There's zilch going on down here in Cincinnati - though the list's own Chris Miller played up the road in Lebanon a few weeks ago.

And by the way, that old "D" Acadian is now all mended and tuned and plays grand!

Is that the black Acadian?

You bet!

Hey man, how cool! You've got a real piece of history there. I'm glad it's got a "second life."
