LA MAZURKA

La Mazurka is on line now

you can hear it on my website

The Mazurka is an old dance in waltz time that the Cajuns used to dance at the turn of the century, along with the polka, the danse carrée, etc.

Hope you enjoy it

Cheers

Gerard

Re: LA MAZURKA

Thanks for making that available to us Gerard, and for all the work you have done to preserve the music of our old masters. I am just discovering some of the stuff you did.

Also thanks for the translation on the babarotte post, I was puzzled (not words I have heard in La.)

Re: Re: LA MAZURKA

Thank you dear Bryan for your kind appreciation, it is so nice of you
All the best
