Got curious and digging around the other day, and while I know that Moïse Robin recorded in the 20's and early 30s with Leo Soileau, I don't know much else about him, and I ran across a website (see link) that states that Robin murdered his wife some years ago and went to prison.
I heard some clips on npmusic.org of Robin as an older man, that I think Gerard Dole made of him.
So what's the story on him?

While we're at it, what's known about Mayeuse LaFleur?
