Speaking of selling accordions...

My last two... a BTS Martin "C" in black, really, really dinged and worn -- hey, I played it for hours every day for years. Looks like a Sterling that spent its life in the dance halls. Black, with a nice pin-up car-windwo decal of a semi-naked girl with Lousiana as the background, on the bottom of the button board. I mean this box is really worn, but never abused. No finish on most of the button board, and a deep groove by the thumbstrap.

The other is a very early Marc Savoy box, also black, very nice original condition with the original plywood case. Key of C, Salpa #3s, sounds good.

The Acadian is in Sacto, the Martin is here in Tokyo, but I'll be coming back this week -- hopefully -- so I can bring it along. I need $1400 for the Savoy -- it is old, collectable and has a great vibe, I'll take $850 for the Martin. After that, I'm out of the accordion biz...

Re: Speaking of selling accordions...

Do you have any pics to post on this site?

Re: Speaking of selling accordions...

Hey TQ, I am very interested in the Martin... please email me at tenkeygeezer@yahoo.com

Thanks!

Re: Re: Speaking of selling accordions...

I'll try to come up with some pics...

Cool... I'd like to see them.... although cosmetic issues rarely bother me as long as it's a "player". I'm probably more interested in your impressions of how the box plays, sounds...
Thanks
