Re: Here's Midland Two-Step performed by Jesse Leger on YouTube

The movie I know already.
I love the way Jesse and his band are playing.
Here are the lyrics we use.

Midland Two-Step

O, cher bébé, 'gardez donc, mais
quoi tu m'as fait, ma belle.

ouais catin, malheureuse.
O, ouais plus belle, o plus belle, pourquoi fais
Mais les misères, mais ouais, à moi
Moi tout seul t'espérer

Wonderful song.

Re: Re: Here's Midland Two-Step, Amadé Ardoin version

The original Midland goes back to Amadé Ardoin
Here is my version of listening to his words

Oh toi catin, oh, tous mes Parents

Oh, toi 'tite femme, oh comment te r'voir ?,

Re: Re: Re: Here's Midland Two-Step, Amadé Ardoin version

That's better.
I have a Cd from Amadée and the Midland Two step is one of the tracks.
I found the lyrics on the site off the band Femmes.

Re: Re: Re: Here's Midland Two-Step, Amadé Ardoin version

Thanks for the lyrics Harlan. These I think are closer to the Midland version found on Savoy & Doucet Band on which Wilson Savoy executes the song. I think I'll go with this version.
