Current prices

I know Savoy, Martin and Falcon have all gone up in price in the last 12 months, and Larry Miller has stopped building (I know his grandson is taking over and I look forward to reports) but does anyone have an idea of what Jude and Danny Dyson and other less high profile builders are pricing at the moment for a basic accordion?

Alternatively has anyone got contact info for any builder they recommend? Being in the UK it's difficult to find these other builders and I'd like to commission a new accordion while the dollar/pound rate is in my favour.

Re: Current prices

Danny's price did go up a year or two ago. Call for a quote. www.lecapitaineaccordions.com. Still a bargain I'm sure.

Re: Re: Current prices

Thanks for the offer. If it was in D I'd be interested, but I already have a Miller and a Martin in C.

Re: Re: Re: Current prices

There is a vintage Acadian in D on eBay... I know the seller very well, excellent box and person.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Current prices

Thanks for the info Glenn. I had spotted it, but, apart from the fact I already have a D Acadian of similar vintage, I think it's a bit over priced, and I'd really like to get a brand I don't already own.

It's a shame the Falcon you were selling wasn't a D, I'd have been there with money in hand.
