Allons boire un coup

Okay, here we go again. I got in Allons Boire un coup today. "Wow" is the only thing I can say. This is traditional music crossed with a little AC/DC. I love it. It Rocks!! I never thought that I'd say that about a cajun CD. What is everyone else's thoughts?

Re: Allons boire un coup

I liked it! That was a good version of Parlez Nous a Boire! Well, not so much the saxophone, for me, but the guitar part by Joel Savoy was really good.

The organ intro on Pinegrove Blues reminded me of the organ Lightnin Hopkins played on that Arhoolie cd, Zodico (probably back before the term Zydeco was "standardized").

Lost Bayou Ramblers also do an excellent job.
