Off Topic....Swiss accordions

Hey Braves,
For something different. I first heard my first accordion music when I made my first trip to Switzerland. The Swiss have an accordion call the Schwyzerörgeli. It is a 3 row accordion with several buttons on the left hand. The 3 row side is diatonic while the left side is chromatic. A typical band consists of 3 accordions players and a standup bass player, bowing his bass. It sure sounds good up in the mountains with a good bottle of Swiss wine. I have video link above of a short clip of a young girl playing one.....enjoy.

Re: Off Topic....Swiss accordions

Great video Mark, it is alway good to see kids learning their traditions.

Interesting accordion, it probably evolved to meet the regional music.

And, it is large enough to use the case as a seat.

Thanks for posting.
