Gerard

Where can we get a copy of your CD's??

Thanks... Ed

Re: Re: La Mazurka

Hello Ed

Thanks for your concern

You can load the MP3 versions of Gerard's songs on his website: Francadian Music Tradition.

In case you want to order the CDs themselves: "Coeur de Patate Chaude", "La fille du Diable" or "La Mazurka", get in touch with Gerard at :

Re: La Mazurka

Great video! Watched it 5 times. Even got my wife to watch it so she could see that at one time there was more to Cajun music than 2-steps and waltz's.Not that there is anything wrong with those, but we belong to the Local CFMA chapter here in San Antonio, and it sure is nice at our monthly dances when the band throws in a little something different. Reference the fact that people got bored with the same old sound even in the old days. One of the great things your video showed was the use of the banjo. Too bad that great rhythm instrument in not used in more bands, Country-western and cajun. It is more than just a Bluegrass thing..
