I see you've emailed me directly, but it may be
more beneficial for to respond here .. just in case
someone else is interested in your topic.

For the most part, I agree with the responses that
you've received so far.

I own a "Welt" too, but it's a 2-row B/C Irish job.

It's nice, but it just ain't Cajun :-(

Is it possible for you to try out a LA made box?

You'd get the idea immediately .. there really is no
substitute that I'm aware of.

(Not that you cannot learn on another box, but there
would be challenges as well.)

I've always felt that finding a good used LA "C" box
is a good way to start.

They do turn up here occasionally. Or call Larry Miller
or Mark Savoy's shops?

The Forum will let you know all about wet & dry tuning!
