I had the great pleasure last night of seeing my friend and frequent contributer to this site Johnny Ace make his NYC Zydeco debut. I was floored! I hadn't heard the band prior to the gig but John kept me up to date with their progress. I had no idea what to expect. It was a real thrill to see someones dream realized and realized with a vengence. They were really terrific. Support them if you can. Great work John, we're all proud of you.
