Re: Octa's Two Step / Cajun Exercise - where is it?

It's not on the Clark-Duhon Arhoolie cd. It's on Clark's cd You Can't Go Wrong (If You Play it Right).

Re: Re: Octa's Two Step / Cajun Exercise - where is it?

Octa's Two Step and Cajun Excercise is the same tune
Number 14 on Deux Voyages and number 8 on You can play it right....
Cajun Hot Shoes is number 6 on the last record(CD)
Both great songs and wunderful played by Octa Clark and Dirk Powell.

Re: Re: Re: Octa's Two Step / Cajun Exercise - where is it?

Thanks guys. Looks like Octa's cd is out of print, and only available as a collector's item, at least on Amazon.com

Dwight

It's also on the CD that Glen Clark put together
with Octa playing with Steve Riley and David Greeley.

I think you can only get the CD through Glen himself and it's a fine CD.

If you email me, I'll send you Glen's email address.

Is that Alive & Cookin ?
And there's also a cd with Hector Duhon & the Dixie Ramblers, called Ensemble Encore.
Great stuff !!!!

Ensemble Encore?

Is Ensemble Encore still being sold? I don't see it anymore on the Rounder Web site. They issued the original lp.

Go to Arhoolie,
you will find it there.
