I didn't think to post this on here, as most folks here look at the local calendar, but just in case:

Saturday night, 3/24, at Goat Hall in San Francisco, the Creole Belles and Andrew Carriere will be rocking the house. Dance lesson at 6pm by yours truly, music starts at 7pm, goes to 10pm.

All profits will go to a fund to create a Cajun and Creole music camp on the West Coast. Not a weeklong thing like Balfa or Augusta. Just a weekend workshop. I will be getting Louisiana musicians out here for in-depth workshops, not the 2 hour impromptu events we've had for a couple of years.

This is the first fundraising event. There will be more.

Goat Hall is at 400 Missouri St., at 19th St., in S.F. on Potrero Hill.
