Jeffery Broussard plays accordion, creole fiddle and provides
soulful vocals as the front man of The Creole Cowboys.
Jeffery was a leading member in Zydeco Force, an influential
band at the forefront of the nouveau zydeco movement.

The son of esteemed accordionist Delton Broussard,
young Jeffery began his musical journey on the drums in
his father's legendary band, the Lawtell Playboys, who were
themselves innovators, adding some R&B and a funkiness
to this traditional roots music.

Jeffery has been a Staff Instructor with Louisiana Folk Roots,
Dewey Balfa Cajun & Creole Heritage Week since 2004
teaching Creole accordion, Creole fiddle and scrubboard.

Jeffery has also been a Staff Instructor at Augusta Heritage Center,
Cajun/Creole Week, West Virginia where he taught Creole accordion.

Individual lessons are also
available with Jeffery Broussard
for $40 per hour.

Although Jeffery primarily
plays Single-row (Cajun)
accordions and Triple-row
Accordions, he can also
play and teach fiddle,
drums, guitar, bass guitar,
and rubboard.
