Well, I am not so sure Brunswick spelled the name of the tune correctly. See how they butchered LeJeune, Canaille, and Louisiane!

I don't think there's anyone credited for that song. This is one of these very old songs that come from who knows where. The same song (with different lyrics) is present in the French Canadian répertoire.

C'est interessant, ça. I've wondered how many of todays Cajun songs are tunes brought over from Canada or France. Here is a few that I believe were:

La Betaille
Mes Souliers Sont Rouge
Les Fouilles Dans L'Arbe
Saute Crapaud
La Table Rond

In fact I guess most if not all of the Deshotel brothers and Edius Nacquin's songs.
