For those in the Ville Platte area, or those of you lucky enough to be going to the Balfa camp, Cecil at Floyd's record shop has a Bb he just finished. It is for sale and he is letting folks test drive it. I played it a little Saturday. First time I ever heard one, what a cool sound. It is quilted maple that has a glazing of dark stain over the sealed wood, which leaves it with dark highlighted grain and light colored wood.
