Just wanted to let you guys know that Steve Riley is teaching an accordion class in Lafayette. Classes are every other Tuesday (except when he's on the road) at 101 Vermillion Street in downtown Lafayette, LA. The place is a travel agency office located across from The Acadiana Center For The Arts. This coming Tuesday (5/1/07) will be the next scheduled class. The classes are best suited to the intermediate player. Anyway, thought you guys/gals would be interested. And if any of you make it to the class be sure and tell me "HI!", my name's Jon and I'm the guy with the red MARTIN with black end plates.

$15.00, and basically Steve breaks down a song and one of the students writes down the tablature then makes copies for anyone who wants tablature. Also, filming is allowed at the end where Steve will play the song as slow as he can and then at regular speed.
Btw, Russ, I'm pretty sure you and I went to high school together at Comeaux. We were never friends or anything so you might not know me but I've been really good friends with Rachel L. (think X) ever since 6th or 7th grade.

Yep, I know Mike Tucker personally and he does I great job giving beginner lessons. And yeah its in the same building and Tucker pretty much does the class every Monday at 6pm for $15.
Oh I didn't even list the time of Steve's class. Its at 6pm every other Tuesday assuming he's not on the road and Micheal Tucker gives a class just about every Monday at 6pm. Both classes are $15 per person and located at 101 Vermillion St. in downtown Lafayette, LA.
