Hohner 114 shoulder strap

I recently purchased a Hohner 114 as a starter box. It does not have a shoulder strap. Can anyone advise me on where I can buy a strap, and how would it be mounted?

Re: Hohner 114 shoulder strap

George,
doesn't it have a couple of D-rings on the top & bottom of 10-button side? If it does, just hang a clip-on webbing strap from a carry-on luggage bag and adjust to fit your right shoulder.

Re: Re: Hohner 114 shoulder strap

I had to add the D-Rings to my HA-114, which was very easy. You can also get the "official" Hohner strap hardware, which does look better (I think Claude was suggesting this recently).

I do NOT recommend the clip-on luggage strap approach because the clips end up scratching the accordion. Instead, get a real accordion strap.

I don't think they have "D" rings on them.

Re: Re: Hohner 114 shoulder strap

Guess it is time to get out the Dremel tool.

Yep!

Re: Hohner 114 shoulder strap

George,

I have purchased the D-ring hardware kits from Larry
Miller .. But I do not know if he still provides
parts, since he has retired from making accordions.

He has his own WEB page w/contact information.
