So will I, probably. The scheduled bands are listed above. Sounds great, once again.

Re: Saulieu Anyone ??

Oh, man. They're all booked up this year, but I'll be playing next year. I'm interested, though, in just attending this year, maybe playing some clubs around there--my accordionist's idea. I'm planning on going, if everything works out with my Moscow job and I can get away. I'd love to see my baby brother! If I do, let's meet up!

Re: Saulieu Anyone ??

See you there.. it is well worth going just as spectator..and there are plenty of jam sessions in the central bar/caffe and piazzas.. so it's 3 days of solid music. The people are very nice, the food excellent.. ( and I live in Italy ! )..

See y'all there... : ) G:

Re: Re: Saulieu Anyone ??

Hey Glenn, how about the one Christian pointed out? That's even nearer for you isn't it? We're seriously thinking about it.

2. Normandie (St-Aubin)
3. Bourgogne (Saulieu)

Wunderful festival every year.

Re: Re: Saulieu Anyone ??

. . . yes, it is the best event east of Eunice !

. . . hope to see you there. . .

Re: Re: Re: Saulieu Anyone ??

The Savoie one is in July, Glenn. But you'll know that by now.
Christian - do you know who is organizing it? Anyone we'd know?

BJ

Re: Re: Re: Re: Saulieu Anyone ??

No, I have never heard of the people who organize this festival. I also like their idea of having a "brocante de la musique" ("music flea market"?).
