Re: Bois Sec & Canray Fontenot on YouTube

That clip's priceless.

Re: Re: Bois Sec & Canray Fontenot on YouTube

I'm very sad about the loss of one of the last oldies.
Bois Sec was and will remain a great source of inspiration for many who loves Creole, Cajun and Zydeco music. I get the clip from a friend who had it on a video-tape Delta-blues.

Re: Re: Re: Bois Sec & Canray Fontenot on YouTube

What's this Delta-Blues tape you speak of? I would love to learn more about it and maybe purchase it.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Bois Sec & Canray Fontenot on YouTube

Jon,

If you want I can sent you the movie.
That's possible with yousendit.
After the two step you can also watch and listen to Bonsoir Moreau.
The rest of the video is normal old blues music, but also very nice.
I shall search for more informaation about the tape.

Re: Bois Sec & Canray Fontenot on YouTube

Is there no audio to that clip? I couldn't get any sound. Bruce

Re: Re: Bois Sec & Canray Fontenot on YouTube

The audio quality is very poor. You have to turn your volume up way high. Using earphones also seems to help.

Good luck.

Re: Re: Bois Sec & Canray Fontenot on YouTube

When I put the movie to youtube, the volume was the half of the original.
