Re: Re: YEEHAW!!! I`m the proud owner of a Bon Tee

Yep, it`s a Bon Tee Cajun, i don`t have a picture at this moment.
maybe by the end of the week, right now Ron von D is taking care of it.( i hope )

al i can tell you is that it is rosewood with black endplates, and there is a diamond on the bellows.
it also has it`s original internal microphone.

i`ve mailed the previous owner to ask when it was made, so more on that later.

Congratulations Wilfred.
This afternoon I played on your new one for a few minutes.
I have tested the built in mike/pick-up and it sounds very good.
The bass sound like a grizzly, who is very mad about something.
Come and get it soon.
You are a lucky guy.

Re: Re: YE YAILLE !!! I`m the proud owner of a Bon Tee

For a Cajun-accordion you have to change your yell !!

Re: Re: Re: YE YAILLE !!! I`m the proud owner of a Bon Tee

maybe i should switch to playing zydeco with that internal mic.

Hey, Congratulations Wilfred!

Your life will never be the same!

If you could, please let us know how it compares
to your previous instrument, if you had owned another
diatonic accordion.

(People are always asking what the difference is
between a "street" accordion and a "real" one

Yes, an internal mic has a sound all of its own.

Thanks again for sharing, keep squeezin'!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: YE YAILLE !!! I`m the proud owner of a Bon Tee

well, it`s a lot easier to play then my Harmona.
it is hard work playing on that because it uses a lot of air.
But it didn`t keep me from playing every day.
Nothing wrong with a "streetbox", but if you realy like the music and the playing you`ll be wanting a "real" box eventually.

that`s my experience.

Re: YEEHAW!!! I`m the proud owner of a Bon Tee

Congratulations! I have two, a C and a D, from les vieux temps passé when Larry called them "Bon Tee Cajun's." Nice instruments for sure.

These days (at least for public playing) I mostly play my "Bon Temps" D, slightly wet-tuned, made by Mr. Jude Moreau!
