Re: Re: blues de tac tac

aye Ron, daar voeren ze Braziliaanse plofkip mee ....... vertaal dat is voor me?

Re: Re: blues de tac tac

It's about eating popcorn among other things.

Re: blues de tac tac

now You got me curious ..... what are these other things?

Re: Re: blues de tac tac

Well, there's also grios (sp? unpopped kernels), all apparently washed down by plenty of booze. Kinda funny when whoever that is in the band asks Nathan how he eats the grios with no teeth.

The lyrics

Blues de tac-tac

J'ai été au bal hier au soir.
J'ai été au bal hier au soir.
Moi, j'ai mangé du tac-tac.
Moi, j'ai mangé des grillots.
J'ai été au bal hier au soir.
Je vas aller au bal encore.
Je m'ai saoule hier au soir.
Je m'ai saoule hier au sore.
Moi, j'ai mangé du tac-tac.
Moi, j'ai mangé des grillots.
Je m'ai saoule hier au soir.
Je vas me saouler à soir encore.

I went to the dance last night.
I went to the dance last night.
I ate some popcorn.
I ate some toasted kernels.
I went to the dance last night.
I'm going to go again tonight.
I got drunk last night.
I got drunk last night.
I ate some popcorn.
I ate some toasted kernels.
I got drunk last night.
I'm going to get drunk again tonight.

des pacanes a Nonc Edouard

Nathan sings a line that goes C'est des pacanes a Nonc Edouard qu'etait si bon en pralines (It's Uncle Edward's pecans that are so good in pralines). I think it's the last line of verse one. I'd have to listen again to be sure.
