Say, will anyone be attending the louWISiana
Hot Sauce Fest this year?

They've got a nice line-up this year, and it's a
FREE festival

It's held annually in the great-white-north in
Wisconsin (yeah!)

The jam sessions will be lead by yours-truly, Big Nick,
but don't let that stop you from attending

Jams will be on the 4th & the 7th. It's a feature
that is being nurtured, so players are being sought after!

this year

If ya'll do attend Augusta, please have an extra
beer on our behalf!

I'll be attending the festival on the Fourth of July as long as it doesn't rain. And don't foreget that other festival, La Fete de Marquette in Madison, WI on July 12 - 15, with Francophone music and Sunday dedicated to Louisiana music, featuring FeuFollet and CJ Chenire and our local band the Cajun Strangers.

Last year at La Fete de Marquette, Steve Riley
and Geno Delafose graced the stage, right?

I recall the temperature being well into the 90's
and the bands commenting about how much it was like
being back home :-)

This year, the setup will afford the dancers some
well deserved shade!

You are thinking of the right place. Scorching hot and no shade. They have planted some trees, but they don't cast must shade at this point. There will be a bigger dance floor and another tent for shade and hopefully the weather will be better.
