Hi Ed,

I haven't been on this board for a while and just saw your message.
It's indeed played in the key of A on an A-accordion (made by John Roger).
It's a two-step version of 99 Year Waltz and as far as I heard Wilson Savoy wrote it for the Red Stick Ramblers (it's on their cd "Bring It On Down")

You sure are correct, Mr. Messany! Wil wrote it, but he was too sick to play when the Ramblers needed to record it, so Stevie stepped in to do it for them.
