Re: "First Act"

Yuh know... I own 2 of these things and they are really kinda cool. I submitted this post since things seemed a bit slow here on the ol' Bravenet -- not to dicount the honest-to-catfish-postings of song assistance, workshop notices, box sales and air button techniques-- but rather just to just sey "hey"! And it does seem as thought these Chinese toys are rather cool...

The little Hohner "Mignon" looks like fun also.

Larry,
I've seen the piano accordions, but I've found First Act button accordions, too.

I picked one up for my son a while back.

Re: Re: "First Act"

The only one I've found that is decent is the "First Act". All the others are crappy in some way or another, particularly with non-standard scales.

Re: 7 Button Cajun Box on eBay

My daughter turns two this Aug. 17th and my mom bought her an accordion exactly like this for her B-Day! She's going to love it!

Re: 7 Button Cajun Box on eBay

Avoid this one. The one's I've tried in the past have non-standard scales. I think the highest note is a half-step off. Not just out of tune. A whole half-step.

test before you buy

i would say test before you buy, if scale
pattern matters

even the first act is subject to change
according to what ever is cheaper
at the moment

the hero 7 key accordions, though, originally
gave me the idea to have my 10 buttons
made with a low A pull note or equivalent,

that is that they have and i went 'huh. i
actually like that.'.
