That is pretty clearly a crystal mic... and the sound is TERRIBLE. No bass!

Premier also made one on a strip of bendable metal that you could hook around the casing of the accordian where it meets the bellows, then close the accordian back up. Also bad.

The Dominican 2 row players mount a Shure ( not certain of the model but I'll check) directly on the reed blocks..

talk about strident but that's what they want...
