I used to busk on Cannery Row in Monterey

A few bucks from adults was ok

but smiles from the kids was a greater reward

Ever notice the first thing a kid'll do is stick their finger in the bellows?

Then they want to know what the stops are for.

Then they start mashing the buttons while you're playing.

Then the fingers go back in the bellows...

This is exactly what I did when I saw Toups play for the first time.

He wasn't too happy with me.

Guess kids are cuter than a beer-soaked fan.

Yeah, one kid wanted to yank on the flappers. Had to keep my distance from that one.
