Re: Re: Nice performance of OST special!

My previous post apparently went to the wrong post.

Re: Re: Nice performance of OST special!

On fiddle is Chad Cormier and on bass guitar is Chad's wife... I can't seem to remember her name right now.

Re: Re: Re: Nice performance of OST special!

The female bassist is Haas Cormier. She is very very good on the bass and is self taught. She also plays bass with Walter Mouton at La Pousierre in Breaux Bridge. She lives in Crowley with her husband.

PS Nick, I sat next to you at Balfa Camp in Steve R. class.

Hi CB!

Hi CB!

So, which side of me were you sitting on? My right?

If so, I think you're from SW Lousiana?

I liked the part where we got Briggs to "fill-in"
for Steve while Steve took a necessary break :-)

I wanted Briggs to remain in the instructor's chair
so that Steve would see him teaching upon his return.

But, Briggs is just too respectful!

Re: Hi CB!

Yo, Nick..yes I am from down here. I was at the Pre-camp jam also in Opelousas. I really enjoyed the Balfa Camp. I am now into my 5th month of the accordion journey and love it (that is why I never took my accordion out of the case!) I do have some DVD footage from Steve's classes and find it much more valuable than the footage I took at the first Beginners session I went to.) I love this web site also. I have learned much from reading all of the contributors posts! There is much knowlege in these pages.

Later,
Charlie
