Steirische Harmonika playin' Wunderkind

OK, this is really not Cajun, but at least it's not politics:
Went to WurstFest in New Braunfels Thursday night.
Great crowd, great music and lots of Beer!
There was an Austrian Band that had just played and their roadies
were going around in the crowd with a Steirische harmonika,
trying to pick up chicks with the ploy
ot letting them play the Boss's $ 5,000 box.
Of course, it was a challenge for most of the girls,
all of whom were over-beered blondes, but this is definitely
putting a beautiful piece of hand-made instrument to good use.
Out of nowhere this little gal takes the accordion
and proceeds to give it a whipping, to the amazement
of the roadies and the surrounding group of beer-numbed college girls.
Turns out she and her mom run an accordion sales and repair shop in Austin.
She also plays 10-button Cajun. 3-row Zydeco, you name it.
I am going to let her check out Justin's new-old Chinese Arrietta Duplicate and give it a clean bill of health.

JB, must have been great to whatch and hear...
Don't underestimate the Steirische players. They are well educated. Ive listened to 17 year old players that really mastered their instrument. But I think that the braves (like me)don't like the style very much.
