Re: Any other high F accordion owners?

I have one, Bruce Daigrepont has one, and I think Dirk Powell also owns one (He played it for their Live at Whiskey River CD). I prefer mine dry tuned but then again that's because I'm a fiddle player and you know how hard most of us are to deal with sound wise.

I meant slightly wet. High accordions do well with a little wetness. Any other key I definably prefer dry. My ears are meticulous about tuning as well.

Re: Re: Any other high F accordion owners?

When I played with Ronnie Matthews and Throwdown, Ronnie used to pull out a high F for a couple instrumentals a night.

Re: Any other high F accordion owners?

I'm about to get one...I love the sound. M.

Re: Any other high F accordion owners?

What is wet tuning?

Re: Re: Any other high F accordion owners?

Justin, shoot me an email.

Re: Re: Re: Any other high F accordion owners?

Wet tune sounds like a piano key being pushed while holding down the foot peddle makes a vibrant sound rather than just a flat note

Re: Any other high F accordion owners?

Well, I do have a high F in a sense...

I also have a low F in a sense...

That is because on my GCF triple row, the F row is more or less equivalent to a high F, and on my FBbEb triple row, the F row is more or less equivalent to a low F.
