I've been using the Samson Airline 90 degree for awhile now with absolutely no problems. I was also looking at the AKG but went with the Samson after watching J.J. Callier use it live and effortlessly switch from the single row, triple row and Piano note using the Samson. It also has a booster switch on it which is perfect for the internal mics on our accordions and gives you a nice fat signal to go into the Boss EQ. Highly recommended.
