I'm going to be looking for some fun stuff my 12 yr. old daughter and I can do after the Folk Roots Kiddie Camp everyday. So far, I've thought of Cypremont Point and finding some big trees to climb in and around Lafayette. We're pretty fond of Magnolias, and there are probably some cool Live Oaks to climb, but I haven't been able to find online the sites of any record-holders for Southern Magnolias. Live Oaks, yes; Magnolias, no.

And y'all who live there might know some good climbing trees, they don't have to be those two kinds.

And y'all might also be able to recommend some other stuff to do. I expect we'll pop into Randol's for some Daddy/daughter dancing.
