Re: rockin' doopsie left handed?

Alrrady got part of the answer. He playe left. see link 2. (I posted this already some months ago. I prefer his playing with Balfa, as you see on this link)

Re: rockin' doopsie left handed?

pretty sure
a. he was left handed
b. he played a right handed box upside down
c. the name was flipped over so that looked right, actually i think that was his name that he added on there
d. the pictures i have seen are of him playing triple row, i am not sure they ever made any 'left handed' ones
e. this is rocking dopsie sr

f. RDJR plays rubboard and is the band leader

Re: rockin' doopsie left handed?

Don't forget to mention that one of Rockin Dopsie Sr's other sons Anthony also plays accordion with his brothers band.

Anthony may be more contemporary than his father but he is an amazing musician and more than capable of doing old school Zydeco.

Thanks for the info guys.

John, I hope that the Raamsdonksveer festival guys read this and invite him to play Old School next year.
