That's right!
I was happy enough with my old 114 - tuned "German wet", so most of the time I had one stop down - until I got that CLOSET ACCORDION, a Bon Cajun, as good as new, miked, with flightcase AND gigbag, from a Belgian guy.
First, I had to be VERY patient, and then of course, VERY lucky, because I got it for a very low price.(I don't want to make anybody jealous, so I won't say how low)
But I still think that the music itself is far more important than the (sound of the) instrument.
For a decent price you can obtain a 114 on Ebay or elsewhere, and if you're lucky, you can find someone to tune it "Cajun dry" for you. Our friend Jim Pettijohn did, and he is very happy with his tweaked 114. The same goes for Bryan Lafleur.
