I appreciate the nod, but the BraveNetters should know that YOU won the 1st place slot. There were seven contestants in this year's contest, including an eight time winner. Aaron well deserved his first place prize. He played his asp off.

Well, modesty aside, congrats to both of you!

I met Aaron at the Dallas Roy ceremony in Vinton earlier this year and didn't realize it was he that started writing on this post. I watched and listened to him go from accordion, to fiddle, to steel guitar to guitar and to drums. He mastered them all. I thought "man if I could play like that and he had a feather up is asp we would both be tickled.
