Personally I enjoyed Bradley Venable's Petite ou la grosse the best (See link 3) What a character and entertainer!! Watch the bench flip at the end. I also liked Aaron Istre's Mardi Gras Jig. Briggs Brown provided some pretty good entertainment - See link 2 to watch him get creative with Les Flammes D'efer.

Boy would I hate to be a judge in this competition.- enjoy!
Thanks Brett for posting the videos. I watched quite a few of them and think they are all winners. Briggs really impressed me with his growth and maturity on the accordion. The little boy who played J'ai Passe' did good to and I was impressed with the way he played and sang. It is amazing how many different ways these kids today can stretch the limits of the song and accordion. It is well worth watching.
Le Piquant
Back when I had "discovered" Zydeco & Cajun music, I
could find NOTHING on the WEB about lyrics or
musicians performing Cajun music.
As a matter of fact, I couldn't figure out how those
Louisiana accordion players were getting "that sound"
in their recordings, because I didn't even know what a
"Cajun Accordion" was !
It's amazing how much all of this has changed and so
quickly!
well i learned how to play by ear. I started playing when i was 13yrs old. I was listening to my computer and i turned down the music and just like that i started playing. It runs through my veins. I was in cameron, louisiana at the time.
