MXR M108 EQ for Accordion?

Just wondering if anyone is using this ten band EQ with single row accordions? Very good reviews from the guitar guys.

Feedback (pun intended) appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: MXR M108 EQ for Accordion?

Haven't used one for accordion or guitar but found this review summary:

If all else fails go to a Music Store, that stocks the MXR, with your accordion ,and ask to try it in- store....good retailers will let you do that particularly if it's a slow part of the day or week....they may even have a room set up.

Looks like a good device but if you have more than one accordion, it might require you to notch-in specific settings each time you switch boxes.

boss eq7

this is good too and very small
i use one of these
the other 3 bands are outside the accordion range anyway

neither one has DI out [xlr connector]
annoyingly

or a 'really low cut' filter
below 50hz

Thanks for the Feedback

Appreciate the comments - the GE7 is definitely more widely used I'm sure.

My boxes are C and D only, so my interest is tweaking for best sound rather than accommodating accordions in a bunch of keys. I'm thinking real seriously of giving this MXR EQ a try.
