just some newbie questions
How do they get the crawfish design on the bellows... is it painted on or do they use bellows tape.

with thee falcon accordion with the 6 stops on the treble side is the reed voicing
LMM or LMH.

Just read in the local [ Sydney Australia ] gig guide that the Little Band of Gold featuring Steve Riley is playing in 2 weeks time 5 minutes walk from my front door

The crawfish is the trademark of Jr Martin. He sends the bellows to Calif where its painted on. I dont think you can add that yourself but check with Jr on that point.

I recently purchased a Jr Martin off ebay with plain bellows I would only
replace with his crawfish bellows to keep it Jr Martin it was more the process
I was after... what sort of paint used etc.

These were originally done by a school teacher/artist up on the Sacramento Delta... he is also a musician and messes with Limber Jacks.
He was a friend of Danny Poullard. I met him around 1992-4

I believe they are airbrushed...
I do not know the paint used..

The crawdad on a bellows is trademarked.
A Lobster is not trademarked on a bellows... make a miniature lobster.

Naw mon, lobsters have big heads and big claws and are featured on restaurant bibs worldwide. Go with a snapper turtle. Ain't been done.

I'd go for the nutria, and then airbrush some invasive bamboo on the facings.
