How does that happen as there are no bids that drove it up
I am going to check on this...
Well it seems that there was a back channel deal.. the box appears to be sold ... the actual e bay seller is leaving it on e bay with a new price for the new owner to make a profit on flipping the box
I am nopt sure this is either ethical or legal..
But that will be the last time I'll link to a sale
I have let the seller know I am PXXXed off
as it has the appearance of compromising me personally
I apologize to any and all about this..
I certainly hope there is another explaination..but that is the info I have so far..
Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..
He has alreadsy told one guy on the Reyes Accordion Forum ( Tex Mex accordeon) that he sold the box...
for $1950 off e bay to someone who saw it on Reyes..
now he says he wants to keep it
Vaca caca....
I have contatced him and asked for a truthful explanation
I still believe he sold it privately off e bay and
the new owner left it list in hopes of flipping it
But that's just my devious mind
Either way
I would not trust the seller
And I won't post anymore links for anyone over at Reyes.
Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..
Because the box was grossly underpriced..by a $1000
I got a message from the seller thanking me for helping him sell it... he sold it cash to a memeber of the Reyes Accordion forum and raised the price to ensure a no sale and avoid e bay fees
I am still waiting for an apology an an explanation
I still believe that the box was left there to hope for a realist and higher same price.
Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..
Hmm, raising the price on eBay was actually a bad idea -- he should have cancelled the sale. If someone actually bid up to that price, he could find himself in big trouble! (eBay fees, not to mention trouble with any bidders).
