Re: Custom Made 3 Row Beltrami

Check that last message...

the price went up $2000

How does that happen as there are no bids that drove it up

I am going to check on this...

Well it seems that there was a back channel deal.. the box appears to be sold ... the actual e bay seller is leaving it on e bay with a new price for the new owner to make a profit on flipping the box

I am nopt sure this is either ethical or legal..

But that will be the last time I'll link to a sale

I have let the seller know I am PXXXed off
as it has the appearance of compromising me personally

I apologize to any and all about this..

I certainly hope there is another explaination..but that is the info I have so far..

Re: Custom Made 3 Row Beltrami

Naw mon, get what you want in what key you want from Karlos at Karlitos Way Accordions here in Dallas TX: http://www.karlitoswayaccordions.com/

Nuh need to mess around wi de eBay ting,

R!CK

Re: Custom Made 3 Row Beltrami

Karlos sold both of these new.. and has offered to get the reeds changed for whom ever buys them should they want to change them

He's aware of the sale..

Now I am being told that the F box sold for $1950 which is half it value..

But that does not explain the increase in price of $2000 and still on e bay

maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..

so i wrote to seller

===

Dear wle,

Bid on my other one, this one is sentimental value, so I
changed the price...

?

wle

Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..

He has alreadsy told one guy on the Reyes Accordion Forum ( Tex Mex accordeon) that he sold the box...
for $1950 off e bay to someone who saw it on Reyes..
now he says he wants to keep it

Vaca caca....

I have contatced him and asked for a truthful explanation

I still believe he sold it privately off e bay and
the new owner left it list in hopes of flipping it

But that's just my devious mind

Either way

I would not trust the seller

And I won't post anymore links for anyone over at Reyes.

Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..

but - how does leaving it on ebay with some inflated starting bid price, help the next person flip it [[or do anything]]?

wle..

Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..

Because the box was grossly underpriced..by a $1000

I got a message from the seller thanking me for helping him sell it... he sold it cash to a memeber of the Reyes Accordion forum and raised the price to ensure a no sale and avoid e bay fees

I am still waiting for an apology an an explanation

I still believe that the box was left there to hope for a realist and higher same price.

No matter..... I'll never do that again

Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..

Hmm, raising the price on eBay was actually a bad idea -- he should have cancelled the sale. If someone actually bid up to that price, he could find himself in big trouble! (eBay fees, not to mention trouble with any bidders).

Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..

foul play on several levels

selling off e bay before the sale was over

raising the price

avoiding payment to e bay

facing the possibility of a serious bid on a box that is sold

bad form

Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..

It has the making of a great hypothetical question for my contracts study group!

Re: maybe the reason he was able to change it was because no one had bid yet..

Ethics and LAW ? when did that come about ?

The sellers antics were clumsy and transparent and the INTENT was to defraud....
