Anyone have the lyrics to Cherokee waltz as done by Ambrose.

The one file we have up there, the first verse is the same, but the second is different.

This is what I hear, last line is stumping me.

Is "te" pronounced "tuh", "tay", or "teh"?

I'm looking specifically for Ambrose Thibodeaux's version. In what Bryan translated, I see no mention of 'ecrivisse', but I see you mention crawfish.

It the version in the yellow book "a" version, or Ambrose Thibodeaux's version?

I think the version in the yellow book is the same guy singing (Gervis Quibodeaux), but it's different lyrics. Boiling crawfish is mentioned in almost every version I've ever heard, but I don't hear it in the Ambrose Thibodeaux version I have, which is possibly not the same one your talking about.

Here's how I hear the last verse. This is the version from the yellow lp, More Authentic Acadian French Music, LL-119. I believe 6 of the 12 songs are Ambrose Thibodeaux originals or near-originals on this one: La Louisianne Two Step, Two Step de Platin, Two Step de Musicien, Valse de Tasso, Point Noir Two Step, and Long Point Two Step.
