Fender Passport Portable PA

Wondering if anyone has experience with or knows about Fender's passport portable PA? I've been looking at the 300W model for small gigs but wondering if the sound is any good. Any feedback is appeciated! Thanks.

Re: Fender Passport Portable PA

Haven't used one but other manufacturers like Yamaha I believe have something similar.

First thing I'd like to know is how heavy is it in modular form...PAs are notorious for doing in backs and arms when loading in and out of gigs..!!

Second...I have Behringer amp and 400W speakers that are fine for most gigs....any less than that though would mean the size of the room and venue configuration could be a problem...and outdoors gigs, well..it may be near useless with them due to sound dissipation.

Other than that it seems they've thought of everything with regard to configuration of the master amp.

Re: Fender Passport Portable PA

Thanks for the input. I am trying to decide between a combo amp and a portable PA. I like the PA because you can plug multiple instruments into it. But I'm with you on the fact that it may be heavy.
