Alex Broussard RIP

I don't want to become Mr. Obituary, but I thought I would pass along this bit of news.

He made some really great songs, including Le Sud de la Louisiane and Year of '57. Brought a bit of bluegrass style to Cajun music. Hosted Laissez le Bon Temps Rouler on TV in the 70s and 80s. Did a lot of charitable work, too.

Re: Alex Broussard RIP

He was also a fixture on television years before that on Sundays in Lafayette with Happy Fats and Ambroise Thibodeaux. I've always loved his voice a great deal.
