This is what I hear on Popcorn Blues, recorded in Crowley, Louisiana in 1960 for J.D. Miller by Nathan Abshire and the Pinegrove Boys. A much more rocking tune than just about anything on the top 25 pop charts that year! If only somebody could have marketed it right, and there hadn't been such prejudice toward French Louisiana!
