Re: Beginner songs

anyone care to put up a lesson for Evangeline Special? It just so happens to be on my list of songs to learn as well.

Re: Beginner songs

I would recommend the Wafus Two Step. It's an easy song to learn and then you can spruce it up a bit once you get comfortable with it. Definitely buy Big Nick's DVD. I bought Vol 1 and never regretted it. It was worth every penny and then some. NIck is an excellent teacher and the DVDs are professionally done. I've seen others and they pale in comparison to Big NIcks. I would also strongly recommend the Amazing Slow Downer. I use it to learn my cajun tunes and some Irish tunes as well. You can literally slow down a song without changing the pitch. It is worth the $49.95. This is a must if you play by ear. Good luck and keep squeezin'.
