New Band Starting

I don't know how many braves know,John Leger.He and i
are getting a band together. He grew up around the LeJeune family (Iry's).Just traditional cajun. We are going to cut a demo,in the next week or so,and a video,(which i'll post on here). The name of the band
is John Leger and Les Frères Cajun. So hope to keep the
cajun tradition going. Later Elzie.
Oh BTW,,,Mr.NOUT thanks for adding me on facebook!

Re: New Band Starting

Good luck with the new band. John's first CD (Swallow-6180) was very good. I'm not sure how much Swallow promoted that CD, but it is well worth getting if it is still available from Swallow

My memory may not be too accurate about this, but I seem to remember that John showed up at Flat Town Music with a copy of his CD, and they agreed to release it. Then I believe that Dan Willging gave it a really nice review in OffBeat magazine. Other than listening to the CD, I've never heard any more about John Leger; but he made a fine CD back in 2004, and I'm sure that your new CD will be just as good.

Good luck.
